Guided Nature Walk at Ute Valley Park

When: Saturday, December 13th 10:00 AM
Where: Ute Valley Park (trailhead off Vindicator)
(overflow parking available at Eagleview Middle School)
1705 Vindicator Dr
Colorado Springs, CO 80919

What: Join us for guided nature walks through Ute Valley Park and learn about the newly conserved open space with two of Palmer's esteemed educators, Linda Overlin and Lee Derr. Learn about the history, biology, and conservation of the property. Kids activities, including a scavenger hunt, will bring out the adventurers! Sip coffee and hot cocoa, and walk away knowing that this favorite park is protected forever!

Dress in layers, as December weather can be unpredictable and chilly. Don't forget hats and gloves!
Meet at the Vindicator entrance at 10AM where hot cocoa and coffee awaits you, plan for a 45 minute walk (could go longer if the weather allows), and return to the trailhead to refill your warm drinks and participate in a short Q&A!

This event is free, but a $20 donation (one gift gets the whole family in) to Palmer Land Trust via IndyGive! is suggested. Please visit to make your gift if you haven't already!
