Join us for a guided nature hike through Corral Bluffs Open Space and learn about this distinctive city-owned property on the eastern edge of Colorado Springs. Jackie Hilaire, President of the Corral Bluffs Alliance and member of the City of Colorado Springs Parks Board, and Amber Shanklin, Palmer Land Trust's Pikes Peak Region Conservation Director, will lead you through the property with examples of the history, geology, biology, and spectacular archeological and paleontological finds that have been uncovered on the property. Don’t miss this unique opportunity, plus, find out what the future holds for this special area.
Dress in layers, as December weather can be unpredictable and chilly. Don't forget hats and gloves!
Please note that the event could be cancelled if there is precipitation or gale force winds. We will send an email the morning of the event if this should happen.
This event is free, but a $20 donation per family to Palmer Land Trust via the Give! campaign is suggested. Please visit indygive.com/plt to make your gift if you haven't already!
